Job Summary

Join the Cardiovascular Lab as a Cath Lab Technologist, working as part of the patient care team to provide hemodynamic monitoring and assist with invasive diagnostic and interventional EP procedures. You will support pre/post patient assessments, patient education, and ensure safe, efficient lab operations in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and technologists in a dynamic cardiovascular setting.

Job Function: Laboratory & Clinical Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Provides hemodynamic monitoring of patients during basic EP and cardiovascular procedures and other scheduled procedures, assists with pre and post patient assessment and patient care within scope of practice, patient teaching, circulating during invasive cardiovascular and EP procedures.
•Demonstrates technical expertise in working with electrophysiology and cardiovascular patients during invasive diagnostic and interventional angiographic procedures.
•Provides patient care under limited supervision within a broad range of health care needs in cardiac special procedures such as basic electrophysiology diagnostic and interventional procedures, implantable cardiac devices and, cardiac peripheral vascular and nephrology diagnostic interventional procedures.
•Collects and documents chronological events of the procedure and medical care during the procedure.
•Assists the physician in the performance of pediatric and adult invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree in Science or a related field
•Three years of experience in invasive cardiovascular laboratory post-graduation
•RCIS, RCIT, CEPS certifications
•Knowledge of Cardiovascular Technologist Scope of Practice and relevant regulatory requirements
•Ability to work with electrophysiology and cardiovascular patients during invasive procedures
