Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate pump rigs to install, retrieve, and service submersible and centrifugal pumps in water wells at the ISR mine site.
  • •Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs, diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical pump issues.
  • •Diagnose and resolve pump performance problems to maintain optimal water flow and pressure for ISR mining processes.
  • •Conduct pre- and post-operation checks and maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and well performance data.
  • •Coordinate with wellfield technicians and engineers for pump installations, replacements, and system upgrades, including emergency repairs to minimize downtime.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in mechanical systems, hydraulics, or related fields preferred.
  • •2-5+ years of experience operating pump rigs or servicing water well pumps, preferably in mining or industrial settings.
  • •Knowledge of submersible and centrifugal pump systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • •Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for pumps, motors, and related equipment.
  • •Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred, plus ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and wellfield diagrams.
