Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain a caseload and monitor student course pacing, activity, assignment completion, and academic progress.
  • •Identify early signs of academic decline and initiate academic interventions.
  • •Serve as a central point of communication for families regarding curriculum, grading, and school expectations.
  • •Provide training and guidance to help families build learning routines and respond to Students First check-ins.
  • •Arrange support conferences and coordinate MTSS/Title I-aligned academic improvement plans, including referrals to tutoring or supplemental instruction.

Key Requirements

  • •Residency requirement: Must reside in Ohio.
  • •Bachelor’s degree.
  • •2 or more years in education experience.
  • •Ability to travel up to 25% of the time for state assessments and in-person professional development.
  • •Must hold a valid or be able to obtain an Ohio license (e.g., Ohio Teaching License, Pupil Services License, School Counseling License, or Educational Aide Permit).
