Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide electrical discipline design on a wide range of projects within an electrical engineering team.
  • •Develop complex electrical engineering deliverables including one-line/three-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, grounding and lightning protection risk analysis, lighting design, and specifications.
  • •Create electrical calculations such as load and short-circuit analysis, arc flash analysis, voltage drop calculations, motor starting analysis, and grounding touch/step potentials.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited college/university, or equivalent.
  • •7+ years of post-education experience as an electrical engineer producing design deliverables for small, medium, and large capital projects.
  • •Professional Engineering license.
  • •Ability to pass a security background check to access facilities; the level requires US citizenship.
  • •Knowledge and experience with federal government project design and application of UFCs, UFGSs, FCs, the NEC, ANSI/IEEE standards, NFPA standards, and ICC codes.
