Key Responsibilities

  • •Transport detainees to and from authorized locations while ensuring secure escort and control
  • •Exercise surveillance/control over detainees, maintain order and discipline, and enforce detention facility rules
  • •Maintain documentation by making legible, complete entries in transportation and processing logbooks
  • •Inspect vehicles and equipment, conduct security/sanitation checks, and ensure communications radio readiness
  • •Guard detainees during hearings, transport, and medical care; provide detainee care, custody, and control according to policies

Key Requirements

  • •US Citizen who has resided in the U.S. for at least the last five years
  • •High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • •Obtain and maintain a DHS/ICE government clearance; pass a criminal background and consumer credit check
  • •Pass pre-employment and random drug tests and a medical examination/health requirements
  • •Possess a valid state armed security license and a valid state commercial driver’s license with passenger endorsement (Class C)
