Job Summary

Support Pratt & Whitney’s New Product Introduction (NPI) Supply Chain team by developing sourcing strategy, coordinating supplier selection, and tracking supplier work in process to protect planned delivery. Own purchase order updates tied to technical definition changes, pricing, and delivery assurance. Evaluate Technology and Manufacturing Readiness Levels (TRL/MRL), resolve quality issues, and manage supplier risks to program industrial plans—while collaborating across multiple functional groups and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

•Create sourcing strategy and coordinate supplier selection alignment while proactively tracking supplier work in process (WIP) and delivery risks.
•Maintain purchase orders, including technical definition changes, supplier exceptions, pricing, and delivery.
•Use minimum requirements standard work as a competitive advantage.
•Evaluate Technology and Manufacturing Readiness Levels (TRL) and Manufacturing Readiness Levels (MRL), and coordinate resolution of quality issues, QNs, and RCCA for supplier quality escapes.
•Identify and manage supplier risks to program industrial plans.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in supply chain, manufacturing, industrial management, or related field; or an advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
•U.S. citizen—ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required, and only U.S. citizens are eligible.
•Strong communication and customer focus to collaborate with suppliers and product development teams (IPTs).
•Experience managing sourcing strategy, supplier work-in-process tracking, and delivery promise dating.
•Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and associated flow down (preferred).
