Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee construction engineering leadership and execution, ensuring contractors meet South32 engineering, safety, quality, environmental, and community standards.
  • •Provide technical leadership to construction operations and manage contractor and subcontractor performance across safety, quality, scheduling, cost control, and environmental compliance.
  • •Coordinate planning activities such as constructability reviews, HAZOP studies, commissioning planning, and execution readiness reviews.
  • •Lead contractor and stakeholder interfaces, including vendor participation and supporting sourcing/contracting for major work packages.
  • •Support planning, cost, and reporting activities by reviewing schedules, tracking costs, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining change management controls.
