Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver stable, secure, and highly available SAP services by proactive monitoring, preventive maintenance, and timely incident resolution aligned to service levels.
  • •Provide technical leadership and mentoring for SAP Basis engineers and technical analysts, sharing standards, best practices, and supporting capability development across the SAP CoE.
  • •Administer and support SAP environments (S/4HANA, ECC, BW, Solution Manager, BTP/Fiori/Gateway/Web Dispatcher, PI/PO or Integration Suite, Cloud Connector/Router) and perform system lifecycle activities including upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
  • •Manage SAP HANA database activities (backup coordination, recovery support, maintenance, performance monitoring, optimization of servers and OS resources).
  • •Own transport and release operations (TMS, ChaRM integration, sequencing, production releases, outages) and configure HA/DR, security administration, and integrations across cloud and hybrid landscapes.

Key Requirements

  • •7–10 years of SAP Basis administration experience in medium to large enterprise environments.
  • •At least 2 years in a technical leadership, lead, or supervisory role.
  • •Hands-on experience supporting SAP S/4HANA landscapes and administering SAP HANA databases.
  • •Experience with SAP upgrades, migrations, Unicode conversions, system copies/refreshes, and technical implementations.
  • •Experience supporting high-availability and disaster recovery architectures in ITIL-based service management environments.
