Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and evolve payout partner strategy with Payments, Product, Compliance, and Finance to ensure coverage, performance, and alignment with goals.
  • •Identify and onboard payment partners by market, structure new deals, and renegotiate commercial agreements to optimize cost, reliability, reach, and innovation.
  • •Drive global deal execution for payouts, developing commercial structures and navigating regional regulatory constraints to shape contracts.
  • •Own and cultivate executive-level relationships with financial institutions, payment processors, and banks; ensure Airbnb remains a priority client.
  • •Monitor partner performance, lead cross-functional issue resolution, and act as an escalation point for operational misalignment.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 168,000 - 210,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years in payments or fintech, including at least 8 years in strategic partnerships, business development, or enterprise account management.
  • •Proven success owning commercial negotiations and managing multi-million dollar partnerships balancing customer experience, innovation, and financial return.
  • •Experience crafting and executing partner strategies that drive measurable business growth and process improvement.
  • •Deep knowledge of global payment methods, financial products, and cross-border payout solutions.
  • •Experience resolving partner conflicts/escalations and working with regulators or regulated partners in cross-border payout environments.
