Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and deliver operational intelligence by turning complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  • •Evolve operational reporting from retrospective analysis to predictive and real-time decision support by building production-grade, self-service analytical tools.
  • •Build and maintain an operational data governance framework and semantic layer, contributing to data standards and a single source of truth.
  • •Partner with operational leaders to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities across key performance metrics.
  • •Support performance investigations, business initiatives, continuous improvement programs, and the introduction of AI/LLM applications into operational analytics.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in an airline operational environment with strong understanding of operational performance drivers and decision-making.
  • •Strong SQL and Python skills, including clean, well-documented code to automate data pipelines, build reliable data models, and deliver maintainable analytical products.
  • •Experience working with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake or equivalent modern data environments.
  • •Some exposure to predictive modelling or forecasting techniques (advantage) and ability to work beyond historical reporting.
  • •Tertiary qualifications in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or a related quantitative discipline.
