Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the capital markets team in building the company’s network of capital sources and strategies, including international expansion.
  • •Support the bank partnerships team by helping expand the originating and card issuing partner bank network.
  • •Advise on each financing transaction or initiative from strategy discussions through deal execution.
  • •Draft, review, and negotiate capital markets deal documents, including credit and security agreements, loan sale agreements, indentures, certificates, and resolutions.
  • •Communicate legal advice clearly and provide assistance with other special projects.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of relevant law-firm experience, with some preference for additional in-house experience (especially from a high-growth fintech start-up).
  • •JD degree from a well-regarded law school and membership in good standing in a US state bar.
  • •Experience in structured and/or debt finance, including term/revolving/asset-based lending, warehouse/asset-backed financing, loan sales, securitizations, and other funding forms.
  • •Strong business judgment and interpersonal skills for negotiations with internal and external stakeholders.
  • •Outstanding integrity, attention to detail, maturity, and self-motivation with ownership of projects.
