Job Summary

Serve as the customer-facing Field Service Engineer and technical authority for CVD equipment. Install, maintain, and upgrade semiconductor tools while using digital analytics and diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot complex failures and perform deep root-cause analysis. Lead availability/performance for assigned CVD systems, coordinate fab priorities, mentor junior engineers, and drive continuous improvement projects focused on uptime, reliability, and cost reduction across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as technical authority for CVD equipment hardware and process performance, leading troubleshooting and resolution of complex failures.
•Perform deep root-cause analysis for repeat failures, defect excursions, and film non-uniformity, and drive closure of critical issues.
•Maintain hands-on expertise in CVD process fundamentals and chamber hardware; support and optimize CVD platforms from AMAT, ASM, or LAM.
•Allocate engineering resources to daily assignments, own machine availability/performance metrics, and balance corrective and preventive maintenance.
•Observe, coach, and mentor junior engineers and technicians on the fab floor; drive continuous improvement projects and communicate risks/priorities cross-functionally.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Minimum 5+ years of semiconductor industry experience in field service engineering, process engineering, or manufacturing/fab engineering.
•Strong hands-on experience supporting CVD equipment in a production fab environment.
•Proven expertise in CVD hardware and troubleshooting of process interactions, defectivity, and uniformity.
•Direct experience with AMAT, ASM, or LAM CVD tools.
•Solid understanding of vacuum systems, gas delivery, thermal control, and equipment safety systems.
