Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive the quality and reliability strategy for Broadcom’s Silicon Photonics product portfolio.
  • •Collaborate with development teams to ensure products meet quality and reliability excellence and support new product introductions and volume ramps.
  • •Manage end-to-end reliability qualification for silicon photonics devices, transceivers, co-packaged optics, and related technologies; produce plans and reports for customer and Broadcom requirements.
  • •Lead failure analysis investigations to closure, identifying root causes and implementing corrective/preventive actions across cross-functional teams.
  • •Partner with manufacturing teams to manage product transfers and volume ramps while upholding Product/Process Qualifications and Change Management best practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelors (+8 years), Masters (+6 years), or PhD (+3 years) in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
  • •Demonstrated quality and reliability expertise for silicon photonics and related components/technologies, plus previous customer-facing experience.
  • •Proficiency in device/chip/circuit reliability, design for reliability and test, and semiconductor characterization; develop qualification test and stress strategies.
  • •Advanced statistical analysis and analytics skills using JMP, Python, R, or MATLAB, including database development to support high-volume manufacturing.
  • •Strong communication and customer-facing skills, including presenting quality updates and experience with failure analysis techniques.
