Job Summary

Perform routine quality control testing on raw materials, process components, and finished asphalt/aggregate products to ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements. Follow assigned quality control plans and investigate deviations by correcting issues and evaluating data for trends. Maintain and update test result databases, support internal and external customers with quality-related matters, and uphold regular attendance across assigned sites.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform routine tests on raw materials, process components, and final products to meet specifications and customer requirements.
•Follow assigned quality control plans or guidelines.
•Correct deviations in processed materials or from requirements.
•Evaluate data for deviations or trends away from accepted standards.
•Maintain test result database, input data, and assist customers with quality-related matters.

Key Requirements

•High school or GED required.
•Experience in quality or engineering is preferred but not required.
•Valid driver’s license and reliable automobile.
•Willingness to drive to multiple sites across the Greater Rochester Region and Southern Tier with mileage reimbursement.
•Able to follow quality control plans or guidelines as assigned.
