Key Responsibilities

  • •Efficiently and accurately perform teller functions, including receiving and processing deposits, loan payments, transfers, and cashier’s-check-related transactions.
  • •Cash checks and other negotiable instruments; examine documents for endorsements and negotiability.
  • •Verify and balance cash daily, detect and resolve discrepancies promptly, and maintain required proof/error standards.
  • •Operate online teller terminal and handle tasks such as credit card cash advances, traveler's checks/official checks/money orders sales, and night drop functions as assigned.
  • •Provide courteous customer service, maintain privacy of customer information, cross-sell bank products, and complete reports/records accurately and timely.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate or equivalent.
  • •At least one year of related experience/cash handling preferred; previous teller experience preferred.
  • •Good communication skills and professional appearance, dress, and attitude.
  • •Good math skills and good typing skills.
  • •Ability to operate related equipment and computer applications (e.g., adding machine, copy machine, coin and money counting machines, telephone) and follow teller/compliance procedures.
