Build next-generation software for Honeywell’s flagship industrial automation system, applying AI and advanced process control knowledge to improve process control, efficiency, and reliability. Key Responsibilities

•Research, design, and develop next-generation software-based industrial automation solutions using AI to enhance process control and reliability.
•Collaborate with systems architecture, UX, and cross-functional engineering teams to conceptualize, design, and deliver industrial automation software products.
•Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, system design, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvements.
•Partner with R&D teams and customers to support new product introductions and ensure solutions meet technical and business objectives.
•Perform software quality assurance activities including code reviews, troubleshooting, testing, and performance optimization; support complex software integrations.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of professional software development experience.
•Strong knowledge of software development practices and real-time systems.
•Bachelor’s degree in engineering (credit average or above).
•Experience deploying large-scale industrial automation and control systems, including DCS, SCADA, and APC applications.
•Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and secure software development practices.
