Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop research objectives and proposals for own or joint research aligned with Co-AIMS objectives.
  • •Collaborate with project partners and develop new project proposals centered on human-AI collaboration.
  • •Analyse and interpret data/experiments and apply knowledge to develop new intellectual understanding.
  • •Disseminate research findings through publications, research seminars, and presentations (including posters).
  • •Supervise students on research work and provide guidance to PhD students where appropriate.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 36,636 - 46,049 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in computer science, physics, engineering or a related field, with a PhD (or near to completion) in a relevant topic.
  • •Proven record in robotics, machine learning/deep-learning, and computer vision.
  • •Strong publication record in relevant areas (e.g., ICRA, IROS, NeurIPS, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICML, ICLR, IEEE T-PAMI, IEEE Transactions on Robotics).
  • •Experience developing and implementing machine learning/AI solutions using relevant languages and frameworks.
  • •Proficiency in scientific software and programming languages (Python) and experience with PyTorch and JAX; experience with ROS is required.
