Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide mechanical maintenance engineering support and recommendations to ensure crane integrity, reliability, and availability in compliance with company HSE and Responsible Operation Management System requirements.
  • •Act as SME and onshore engineering focal point for pedestal crane systems, providing technical support, reliability oversight, and engineering assurance.
  • •Lead investigations into equipment trips/failures, define corrective actions, and manage them to completion; conduct RCFA and evaluate preventive maintenance effectiveness.
  • •Develop/monitor mechanical maintenance strategies, procedures, and standards for sustaining plant integrity and reliability; run MTBR/MTBF reporting for equipment/component reliability improvement.
  • •Coordinate with vendors and third-party specialists for troubleshooting, component repair, inspections, and equipment upgrades; review maintenance findings and recommend engineering corrective actions, documentation sign-off, and lessons learned communication across departments.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
  • •Root Cause Analysis and FMECA experience.
  • •Several years of mechanical maintenance engineering experience supporting plant equipment operations and maintenance.
  • •Knowledge of crane operation, maintenance, and common failure modes.
  • •Ability to provide leadership as an SME for mechanical maintenance issues, including RCFA and support for offshore and onshore facilities (operations, preventive maintenance, repairs, obsolescence).
