Key Responsibilities

  • •Process deposits by receiving checks and cash, verifying amounts, checking endorsements, and requesting required identification.
  • •Cash checks and pay out funds after verifying signatures and available funds.
  • •Maintain daily vault operations, including opening, balancing, closing, and maintaining related logbooks.
  • •Balance and record teller cash and vault cash to the general ledger daily, addressing any discrepancies immediately.
  • •Cross-sell bank products and services, refer clients to appropriate personnel, and identify/report suspicious transaction activity and potential security threats.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Two (2) years of banking experience in a Teller role.
  • •Vault experience desirable.
  • •Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • •Ability to accurately count and handle cash, with knowledge of basic accounting and balancing; experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
