Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, implement, and continuously improve environmental programs at Memphis-area facilities.
  • •Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations established by relevant agencies.
  • •Track, review, and interpret new and proposed environmental laws and regulations, providing guidance to leadership and engineering teams.
  • •Perform regular environmental audits and inspections to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • •Manage hazardous materials and waste management programs and maintain site operational compliance plans, including SWPPP, SPCC, and permitting documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
  • •2+ years of experience developing and executing environmental and regulatory compliance programs.
  • •Ability to maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (EPA, TDEC, and relevant agencies).
  • •Experience managing hazardous materials and waste management programs, including required reporting and recordkeeping.
  • •Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting, including air permitting and stormwater management practices.
