Job Summary

Detail vehicles to CarMax quality standards during overnight shifts in a climate-controlled facility. Conduct cosmetic inspections, perform paint touch-ups, post-paint finishing, waxing, and buffing, and complete minor repairs by repairing or replacing small components. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace while following CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and collaborating with the team to meet production goals.

•Perform thorough cosmetic inspections to identify detailing needs and ensure vehicles meet CarMax quality standards.
•Execute paint retouching, post-paint finishing, waxing, and buffing to CarMax quality standards.
•Repair and replace small components, ensuring functionality and visual appeal.
•Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following CarMax protocols.
•Follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and collaborate with team members to meet production goals.

Salary: USD 12 - 18 hourly

Key Requirements

•Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
•Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.
•Valid driver’s license and ability to operate vehicles safely.
•Hands-on experience in automotive detailing tasks such as washing, waxing, buffing, masking, sanding, and minor paint applications (preferred).
•Familiarity with replacing small parts and performing minor cosmetic repairs (preferred).
