Key Responsibilities

•Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, repairing holes, and removing old paint
•Mix, match, and apply paints and finishes to various surfaces
•Select and purchase paints, brushes, and supplies; request quotes and negotiate prices
•Read blueprints/instructions to assess scope of work
•Build scaffolding and perform on-site prep; ensure safety and quality on site

Key Requirements

•Industrial Training Certificate
•Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Painter
•Knowledge of commercial and/or construction painting techniques
•Knowledge of using appropriate tools (brushes, caulking guns etc.)
•Ability to read and write English
