Job Summary

Develop and implement automation solutions for Single-Use Systems, including PLC and HMI software, industrial control system design, and electrical control panel concepts. Prepare and maintain technical documentation (FDS/SDS, manuals, FAT/SAT protocols, schematics), perform FAT/SAT and validation support, and troubleshoot during commissioning. Collaborate with design, quality, suppliers, and contractors, and provide customer-facing technical support with quarterly travel across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and develop automation solutions for Single-Use Systems, including PLC and HMI software for product development and customer-specific projects.
•Specify complete automation systems (hardware and software architecture) and design industrial control panels, starter panels, and HMI solutions.
•Develop electrical and instrumentation control system concepts and detailed designs, including electrical schematics and single-line diagrams.
•Prepare and maintain technical documentation (FDS/SDS, operation & maintenance manuals, FAT/SAT protocols) and review vendor/subcontractor documentation.
•Perform FAT/SAT, troubleshoot automation systems, support commissioning/start-up, and provide customer technical support through project lifecycles.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree (HBO) in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Software Engineering, Operational Technology, or related field, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
•Minimum 2-3 years of experience in automation, controls engineering, or industrial software development.
•Experience programming PLCs and HMIs, plus the ability to create, interpret, and review electrical drawings and schematics.
•Experience developing control system architectures and industrial automation solutions, including FAT/SAT, commissioning, and validation activities.
•Experience with bug tracking and software testing methodologies.
