Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver clear and accurate month-end reporting on timetable, working with commission leads and finance leads on management accounts, financial reports, and forecasts.
  • •Produce business partner reporting including project profitability, project revenue trackers, project accounting, and WIP analysis, plus variance commentary support.
  • •Maintain balance sheet reconciliations with reconciling variances articulated and managed to financial reporting standards.
  • •Process general ledger journal transactions for the income statement and balance sheet, including client invoicing and intercompany account reconciliations.
  • •Support statutory audit, annual budget submission, and monthly payroll preparation (payroll journals and payroll reconciliations), plus respond to payroll queries as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified accountant with at least 5 years post-qualification experience.
  • •Experience preparing management accounts, forecasts, project accounting, and related project profitability reporting.
  • •Strong accounting knowledge, preferably including CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent qualifications.
  • •Strong Excel skills and an analytical, methodical approach to investigating and interrogating data.
  • •Ability to work independently under heavy workloads and conflicting priorities, with strong communication skills for business partnering.
