Job Summary

Manage an Energy Banking portfolio for upstream, midstream, downstream, and/or oilfield services clients within Corporate Banking. Partner with Relationship Managers and Credit Risk to support new deal execution, proactively monitor credit performance, and identify and mitigate emerging credit concerns. Underwrite and close complex commercial loans, complete portfolio administration and risk reviews, maintain market knowledge, and support training for junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage a portfolio of energy clients (upstream, midstream, downstream, and/or oilfield services) within the Energy Banking vertical.
•Underwrite, close, and monitor complex broadly syndicated, club, and bilateral commercial loans per bank policies.
•Conduct timely portfolio administration including periodic reviews, risk ratings, product renewals, delinquencies, and exceptions.
•Identify, escalate, and mitigate emerging credit concerns in coordination with Relationship Management and Credit Risk.
•Attend client calls (virtual or in-person) and support junior colleague training and development.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree required.
•8+ years of credit experience in a portfolio management/underwriting role in Energy and Reserve-Based lending.
•Experience underwriting, closing, and monitoring complex broadly syndicated, club, and bilateral commercial loans.
•Knowledge of energy/industry trends to support portfolio risk management and deal execution.
•Experience supporting training and development initiatives for junior colleagues.
