Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake numerical analysis using computer-based programmes to support water system studies.
  • •Carry out technical and feasibility studies to appraise alternative potable, foul, surface, and attenuation solutions.
  • •Produce water infrastructure designs (e.g., pump systems and pipe networks) and create a Designer’s Risk Assessment document.
  • •Create sketches, models, and consolidate final working drawings.
  • •Stay current with regulatory legislation and guidelines, and collaborate on site work and project management with opportunities for site visits.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering (2:1 classification or equivalent).
  • •MEng in Civil/Structural or a water engineering related MSc would be an advantage.
  • •Demonstrable interest in water projects, with enthusiasm, ambition, and drive.
  • •Basic computer skills essential (Word/Excel) and strong report writing skills.
  • •Willing and able to work towards professional qualifications such as ICE & CIWEM.
