Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead transit safety and security project tasks for internal and external clients across the United States using FTA and APTA processes and standards.
  • •Develop PHAs/TVAs and associated mitigations/countermeasures, and support related safety and security deliverables including CEL/CIL and DCCC/CSCC.
  • •Hold workshops with multi-disciplinary groups/committees and provide direct interaction with agency clients and project managers.
  • •Prepare and maintain SSC documentation and reports, including SSC training for internal and external clients and SSC peer reviews.
  • •Develop PTASP, conduct annual reviews/updates, and perform project safety & security design review and hazard and vulnerability analyses/assessments.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS plus 6 years of related experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Ability to pass an MVR check.
  • •Proven project task lead experience inclusive of Public Transportation Safety Certification Training Programs (PTSCTP, TSSP), State Safety Oversight (SSO), and U.S. domestic cybersecurity and SS experience.
  • •Preferred: Public Transportation Safety Certification (PTSCTP and/or TSSP) and/or Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
  • •Preferred: proficiency delivering PTASP development and annual reviews, including Safety & Security Certification documentation and hazard/vulnerability analyses.
