Job Summary

Support construction cost services for a large-scale, multi-phase data center campus near Louisville, Kentucky. You’ll advise clients on procurement and bid processes, manage estimating and cost reporting, track budgets and commercial risk, and recommend actions on payment applications and change orders. Maintain invoicing and support post-contract audits and closeouts, using cost estimating and take-off tools to drive accurate forecasts and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Advise clients on bid strategies and vendor prequalification; assess proposals and bid documents, chair bid interviews, and manage the appointment process.
•Develop and manage estimating services, including project estimates and review of junior team estimates; support value engineering and risk assessment.
•Establish reporting schedules and manage cost reporting, forecasts, and budget tracking; maintain commercial risk registers and support regular cost meetings.
•Support cost control by reviewing payment applications, evaluating contractor entitlements, reviewing change orders, and recommending actions to clients.
•Manage invoicing and support final accounting activities, including post-contract audits, account closeouts, and post-contract reviews.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
•3–5 years of experience in a cost management role within the construction industry.
•RICS accreditation or working toward certification is valuable.
•Experience supporting cost management on medium to large-scale construction projects, preferably data center, industrial, or large campus environments.
•Strong knowledge of procurement routes, value management, and value engineering, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
