Job Summary

Coordinate and process customer shipment requests, prepare delivery paperwork, and maintain accurate orders in the system. Monitor inventory availability and track trucks from order start through completion, using Oracle Transportation Management for carrier assignment, rating, scheduling, and equipment requirements. Produce and review daily shipping reports and delivery logs, communicate delivery times and issues, and ensure compliance with OSHA/MSHA and DOT regulations, including driver log auditing.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate and process shipment requests from customers, customer service, and sales.
•Prepare delivery paperwork, shipping documents, and maintain accurate order entry/revisions.
•Use Oracle Transportation Management to manage carrier assignment, rating accuracy, scheduling, and equipment requirements.
•Monitor and track trucks from order start to completion; review inventory availability and communicate issues.
•Ensure compliance with OSHA/MSHA and DOT regulations, including driver log auditing, and prepare daily shipping reports and delivery logs.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent experience in a related function.
•Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
•Logistics experience with working knowledge of DOT regulations, scheduling of internal fleet equipment, and third-party carriers preferred.
•Strong language, mathematical, and computer skills.
•Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
