Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive, pay out, and handle cash and negotiable items, including loan payments, deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
  • •Set up, close, and balance the teller station; assist with balancing vault, ATM, night drop, and coin machine as assigned.
  • •Maintain a neat and well-stocked teller area and ensure proper scanning of bank documents and proof work.
  • •Follow account protection limits, bank safety and soundness policies and procedures, and complete required BSA/AML and compliance training as assigned.
  • •Float between branch locations as needed, cross-sell bank products and services, and adhere to the work schedule with flexibility.

Key Requirements

  • •Equivalent to four years high school or GED, with emphasis on office/skills, plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively in person with customers and small groups.
  • •Strong mathematical skills for basic arithmetic and money-related measurement.
  • •Ability to follow simple multi-step instructions and handle standardized situations with limited variables.
  • •Basic proficiency with 10-key and spreadsheet and word processing/typing tools.
