Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee day-to-day Human Resources department activities to ensure work is completed in compliance with company policies and all federal, state, and local legal requirements.
  • •Counsel and guide managers on performance management measures; assist with corrective action documentation and participate in corrective action sessions as needed.
  • •Advise managers and supervisors on state and federal regulations and effective HR practices for employee issues.
  • •Coordinate recruitment for salaried (exempt and non-exempt) openings, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers in Workday, and salaried new-hire onboarding/orientation.
  • •Administer the NOCTI program (testing, recording scores, promotions, and subsequent pay increases based on passing levels) and provide HR-related training for performance counseling and employee relations issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum two (2) years progressively responsible experience in HR with emphasis on employment and employee relations and/or benefits.
  • •Demonstrated one (1) year leadership experience, including knowledge of timekeeping requirements, policy adherence, and conflict resolution; supervising employees preferred.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbal and written, with internal and external customers; ability to communicate in multiple languages preferred.
  • •Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize; ability to work with others with tact, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • •Strong computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook; experience with HCM system such as Workday preferred.
