Perform specialized remote banking operations for a multi-bank environment, processing customer remittance payments using Lockbox and Remote Deposit services. Balance and prepare deposits, enter payments into remittance equipment/software, and forward completed work to customers. Prioritize work to meet customer/bank deadlines, troubleshoot issues, assist with equipment maintenance, and research complex customer inquiries to resolve remittance and remote banking problems while ensuring satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

•Process remittance payments for customers in a multi-bank environment according to customer requirements and company policies.
•Balance payment forms and checks, prepare customer deposits, and enter payments into remittance processing equipment using required software.
•Develop and maintain priorities aligned to customer/bank deadlines, and work with management on processing schedules and automation specifications.
•Track processing volume for customer billing and report preparation; assist with maintaining department processing supplies.
•Research and resolve customer problems and remittance/remote banking issues in a timely manner; assist with troubleshooting and routine diagnostics and testing new equipment as needed.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 19 - 20 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED (some college preferred) and ability to manage multiple priorities in a production environment.
•Minimum 1 year of banking or related experience.
•Proficient mathematical and accounting skills, including 10-key calculator skills.
•Strong interpersonal and communicative skills (verbal and written).
•Ability to problem-solve, keyboard effectively, adapt to personal computer programs, and process work by deadline.
