Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the technical direction, architecture, and evolution of the Cloud Gateways platform across Kubernetes and public cloud infrastructure.
  • •Drive reliability and operational excellence, defining SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets to achieve 99.99% availability.
  • •Automate and optimize platform operations, including provisioning, lifecycle management, fleet-wide upgrades, and orchestration.
  • •Influence technical strategy and architectural direction across engineering organizations through alignment, guidance, and architecture reviews.
  • •Lead cross-functional initiatives and mentor engineers to raise the engineering bar across the Managed Gateways organization.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience building or operating large-scale multi-tenant SaaS platforms, including platform services at scale.
  • •Significant production experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems.
  • •Experience at Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, or equivalent technical leadership level.
  • •Strong production software engineering skills in Golang.
  • •Deep expertise in Kubernetes and one major public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
