Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate control panels and material handling systems for reactor charge/discharge, hot/cold DRI handling, de-dusting, and cement coating.
  • •Maintain process parameters per daily operating instructions to achieve departmental targets.
  • •Coordinate with field staff for equipment and valve positions as required for the process.
  • •Communicate deviations and guidance to the shift supervisor / Senior Panel Operator and coordinate with MH for raw material feeding and product discharge.
  • •Follow shutdown/start-up and emergency handling procedures; record process parameters in log sheets and support training for gas panel and assigned personnel.

Key Requirements

  • •Operate assigned plant areas safely and maintain process parameters per daily instructions and SOPs.
  • •Coordinate with field staff on equipment/valve positions and communicate deviations to the shift supervisor / Senior Panel Operator.
  • •Record process parameters accurately in log sheets and coordinate with the MH department for raw material feeding and product discharge systems.
  • •Minimum Secondary School / ITI and preferred training including Tennova HYL Training.
  • •3-5 years’ experience in large petrochemical/fertilizer/gas-based DRI plants and at least 3 years in a Tennova HYL DRI plant, including control room operations foreman/in-charge experience and Siemens/Honeywell/Yokogawa control system operations.
