Key Responsibilities

  • •Promote effective execution of end-to-end controls across customer due diligence, customer surveillance, sanctions, money laundering, fraud, and tax evasion.
  • •Develop and deliver targeted guidance and training for frontline staff to embed a positive FCR management culture.
  • •Act as an SME to frontline teams and help RMs reduce process burden while promoting best practices and “what good looks like”.
  • •Track and follow up on cases using key metrics and risk indicators; conduct case-level reviews and quality assurance related to FCR concerns.
  • •Support regulatory reporting data supplementation/validation and design or implement procedure/system changes to operationalize policy and improve risk management.

Key Requirements

  • •Extremely strong conflict-handling skills and the ability to work with senior stakeholders.
  • •Ability to handle complex “grey” situations independently to solve problems.
  • •Strong understanding of operational risk and controls, ideally from frontline and risk roles.
  • •Good understanding of the Group’s Non-Financial Risk Framework and Wholesale Financial Crime Risk LOBPs and systems.
  • •Knowledge of the changing regulatory environment and local regulatory guidelines for wholesale banking in India.
