Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with suppliers to baseline and enhance SMT processes to improve product quality, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • •Establish and enforce critical-to-quality process control monitors, including supplier manufacturing limits and critical process CpKs, to drive quality and reliability improvements.
  • •Review new product designs with contract manufacturers to perform DFx and process characterization during development for mass production launch readiness.
  • •Monitor SMT process KPI data on NPI and mass production builds, drive supplier corrective actions, and meet six sigma quality goals.
  • •Plan and execute R&D programs and DOE to achieve and exceed product performance and customer reliability requirements.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •BS/MS (or equivalent experience) in Materials Sciences or Chemistry.
  • •5+ years developing and using PCBA materials and SMTA manufacturing processes at board assembly and system levels.
  • •Extensive expertise in PCBA technologies and manufacturing with strong background in quality and supplier management.
  • •Proven expertise with complex PCB assemblies, materials, and signal integrity challenges with high-speed (25 GBPS+) designs.
  • •Ability to self-drive with excellent English and Mandarin oral/written communications; willingness and ability to travel within Asia region.
