Key Responsibilities

  • •Responsible for monitoring, implementing, and promoting road and traffic safety requirements across the ADNOC Onshore project site.
  • •Ensure compliance with ADNOC road safety standards, project HSE requirements, and approved Traffic Management Plans.
  • •Conduct regular inspections of site roads, access routes, traffic diversions, intersections, parking areas, and pedestrian walkways.
  • •Monitor contractor compliance with vehicle and driver controls, including speed limits, seat belt requirements, reversing procedures, and safe driving practices.
  • •Investigate road traffic incidents and near misses, provide recommendations, and maintain inspection/incident records and road safety statistics.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or diploma in HSE, Engineering, Transportation, Road Safety, or a related discipline.
  • •8–10 years of relevant experience in road/traffic safety, preferably in oil & gas, EPC/EPCM, or major infrastructure projects.
  • •Strong knowledge of road safety, traffic management, vehicle safety, and construction site traffic control, including heavy vehicles and mobile equipment.
  • •Experience monitoring contractors and implementing Traffic Management Plans, including compliance with speed limits, seat belts, reversing procedures, and safe driving practices.
  • •NEBOSH/IOSH (or equivalent) certification would be an advantage; valid UAE driving licence is preferred.
