Key Responsibilities

  • •Leading the design and delivery of general traffic engineering, road safety and active travel schemes.
  • •Preparing and reviewing reports, drawings, schedules and other documents in accordance with local procedures and guidance.
  • •Being responsible for the financial performance of projects.
  • •Undertaking technical review and checking of design deliverables within the team.
  • •Being an active and collaborative team member – working with other disciplines and working closely with the Client team.

Key Requirements

  • •Track record of leading on Road Safety and Traffic Engineering projects – including general traffic engineering, road safety and active travel schemes.
  • •Leading the design and delivery of general traffic engineering, road safety and active travel schemes.
  • •Familiarity with relevant design standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, Manual for Streets and the Traffic Signs Manual.
  • •Writing and implementing traffic regulation orders in line with The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
  • •Preparing and reviewing technical outputs including drawings, reports, and specifications.
