Key Responsibilities

•Leading the design and delivery of general traffic engineering, road safety and active travel schemes.
•Preparing and reviewing reports, drawings, schedules and other documents in accordance with local procedures and guidance.
•Being responsible for the financial performance of projects.
•Undertaking technical review and checking of design deliverables within the team.
•Being an active and collaborative team member – working with other disciplines and working closely with the Client team.

Key Requirements

•Track record of leading on Road Safety and Traffic Engineering projects – including general traffic engineering, road safety and active travel schemes.
•Leading the design and delivery of general traffic engineering, road safety and active travel schemes.
•Familiarity with relevant design standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, Manual for Streets and the Traffic Signs Manual.
•Writing and implementing traffic regulation orders in line with The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
•Preparing and reviewing technical outputs including drawings, reports, and specifications.
