Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive, pay out, and handle cash, negotiable items, loan payments, deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
  • •Set up, close, and balance the teller station, including recording monetary instrument sales.
  • •Cross-sell bank products and services while following limits and procedures that protect customer accounts and bank safety.
  • •Maintain a neat, well-stocked teller area and assist with balancing vault/ATM/night drop/coin machine as assigned.
  • •Complete required BSA/AML and compliance training, scan documents properly, and exercise judgment for holds and check-cashing decisions.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED, with emphasis on office/skills or equivalent education and experience.
  • •12 to 18 months related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination).
  • •Ability to communicate effectively with customers and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group settings.
  • •Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers and work with money using 10-key.
  • •Ability to follow bank policies and procedures while maintaining a positive, friendly, professional attitude and appearance.
