Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the vehicle-level thermal model for Starmind satellites.
  • •Define thermal environments across the vehicle lifecycle, including ground test, launch, operations, and disposal.
  • •Drive heat-rejection architecture trades such as radiator area, mass, optical properties, and heater/survival power.
  • •Own the system thermal budget, including dissipation allocation, heater loads, and min/max temperature limits versus constraints.
  • •Own integrated TVAC/thermal balance tests and correlate pre-test predictions with live test support and post-test results.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, or a related engineering discipline.
  • •5+ years of professional experience in thermal analysis.
  • •Master’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, or a related engineering discipline (preferred).
  • •Spacecraft or high-power vehicle-level thermal-fluid modeling experience in Thermal Desktop, SINDA/FLUINT (or equivalent).
  • •Scripting analysis workflows and post-processing, with Python preferred.
