Key Responsibilities

  • •Support and contribute to subsurface investigations, including planning, interpretation of ground investigation data, engineering analysis, and preparation of geotechnical design recommendations.
  • •Carry out ground engineering design tasks such as bearing capacity and settlement analysis, earthworks and ground improvement solutions, and stability analyses for slopes, excavations, and embankments.
  • •Contribute to tunnelling and underground works design, where applicable.
  • •Independently develop engineering calculations, technical notes, and draft reports, with review and mentoring from senior team members to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • •Participate in quality control reviews of calculations, drawings, and technical documentation and support project teams in meeting technical objectives and milestones.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master degree in Geological Engineering, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
  • •2 to 5 years of ground and tunneling engineering design experience for Transportation and Water projects.
  • •Experience planning and managing subsurface investigations and processing geotechnical data for interpretation and report preparation.
  • •Background in foundation design (shallow and deep), slope stability, seepage analysis, retaining wall design, settlement analysis, and ground improvement.
  • •Proficiency with geotechnical/tunneling software such as GeoStudio/Plaxis (2D/3D) and Rocscience/Ensoft (Openground and Leapfrog is a plus).
