Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Equity Derivatives COO Office with strategic initiatives, controls, regulatory change, MI reporting, change programs, and business impacts.
  • •Define and maintain operating models, governance, escalation frameworks, and efficient front-to-back activity execution within the role remit.
  • •Manage the risk and control environment with embedded control officers, ensuring risks are understood, reported, and managed within risk appetite.
  • •Coordinate and execute regulatory-driven projects, including governance forum agenda/action management and production of information packs.
  • •Drive process improvement and scalable solutions, including monitoring costs/headcount within budget scope and extending strategic support to business management.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong understanding of equity derivatives and the full trade life cycle (e.g., vanilla options, exotics, swaps, convertibles, autocallables) and F2B flow.
  • •Ability to evidence compliance with applicable rules, documentation standards, control testing, and governance expectations.
  • •Experience coordinating front-to-back activities and change initiatives involving Front Office, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Ops, and Technology.
  • •Proven ability to manage program execution and business transformation at scale, translating complex issues clearly.
  • •Technical proficiency with AI-powered business tools and automation platforms, including experience with ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot/Copilot, Jira, Confluence, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Excel.
