Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and lead the long-term infrastructure vision and roadmap, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security as the company grows globally; guide a small SRE team and cultivate a culture of reliability and ownership.
  • •Designing and maintaining distributed databases at large scale across multiple clusters (ScyllaDB) and building high-throughput monitoring to handle 1M+ series per second.
  • •Automate monitoring dashboards, database installations, and cluster management; implement Kubernetes Pod Autoscaler to optimize CPU usage and costs.
  • •Partner with backend engineers and external partners (GCP, ScyllaDB, Redpanda) to push products and tools to the limit.
  • •Code as part of the SRE role, build CI/CD pipelines, and bring new concepts/tools to production.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong understanding of system architecture and software development.
  • •Proficiency in at least one low-level language, ideally Rust or Go.
  • •Strong knowledge with monitoring and alerting tools.
  • •Experience with Kubernetes.
  • •Knowledge of cloud platforms and infrastructure, including strong proficiency in AWS and/or GCP.
