Key Responsibilities

•Perform teller functions including processing deposits and withdrawals, cashing checks and negotiable instruments, and processing loan payments, savings bonds, and cashier’s checks.
•Operate an online teller terminal, process transfers, verify endorsements/negotiability, and detect and resolve discrepancies while verifying and balancing cash daily.
•Serve clients professionally by resolving requests and inquiries promptly, maintaining privacy of customer information, and promoting bank products and services.
•Follow teller procedures consistently and adhere to compliance requirements, including cross-selling and meeting accuracy expectations.
•Coordinate with area personnel and management by assisting with training/orientation, completing required reports/records, and performing assigned duties such as night drop and clerical tasks.

Key Requirements

•High school graduate or equivalent.
•At least one year of related experience/cash handling; previous teller experience is preferred.
•Understanding of bank operations is preferred.
•Good communication skills and professional appearance, dress, and attitude.
•Good math and typing skills; ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment.
