Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee and maintain compliance with global, federal, and state regulations for juice-based and refreshing beverages.
  • •Support certification processes including USDA Organic, Kosher, Non-GMO Project Verified, and Halal as needed.
  • •Ensure product labels meet FDA requirements, including ingredient declarations, nutrition facts, and substantiated product claims.
  • •Partner with R&D, Sales, Quality, Marketing, and Supply Chain to integrate regulatory requirements into product development and commercialization.
  • •Provide timely regulatory guidance and prepare required documentation; respond to regulatory changes and urgent business needs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in food science, chemistry, biochemistry, nutrition, or a related science discipline.
  • •7+ years of regulatory affairs experience with direct experience in beverages and juices, including organic compliance.
  • •Strong knowledge of Non-GMO Project Verified standards, USDA Organic, Halal and Kosher regulations, and international compliance frameworks.
  • •Experience generating NFPs and ingredient declarations, applying labeling regulations using Genesis or similar labeling software, and understanding FDA flavor labeling.
  • •Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
