Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop automation process control and capability requirements for welding and assembly Fanuc robots while meeting safety requirements.
  • •Define machine specifications, approval protocols, runoff, and installation requirements for capital automation equipment.
  • •Perform advanced root-cause problem solving using 6-Sigma, DOE, A3, 9-step problem solving, and 5-Why tools.
  • •Develop, maintain, and improve automation processes and analyze, develop, and implement process improvements for automation cells.
  • •Create and maintain control plans, PFMEAs, JSAs, and ergonomic studies; track SQDIP and EHS scorecard metrics; support Opex initiatives and project administrative tasks like purchase orders.

Key Requirements

  • •BSc in Mechanical/Industrial/Mechatronic Engineering (preferably MSc in Materials, Mechanical Engineering, Product Engineering, Quality, or similar).
  • •Manufacturing/Process/Quality Engineer with at least 3 years on automation.
  • •Experience with project and team management.
  • •Advanced PLC programming plus automation tool selection/design, with mastery of Ethernet, DeviceNet, ControlNet, Modbus, and Profibus networks.
  • •Strong capability with Lean Manufacturing, DMAIC, GD&T, MiniTab, TPM, and AutoCAD.
