Job Summary

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, high-performance RESTful APIs and backend services using Python. Own end-to-end solution design and production support, integrating APIs with databases, third-party services, front-end apps, and enterprise platforms. Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, DevOps, and front-end teams, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code reviews, and deployments while ensuring security, coding standards, and API governance.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, high-performance RESTful APIs and backend services using Python.
•Contribute to end-to-end solution design and coding from requirements through production support.
•Build reusable server-side components focused on performance, maintainability, and clean code.
•Integrate APIs with databases, third-party services, front-end applications, and enterprise platforms.
•Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, DevOps, and front-end developers; support CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, deployments, and issue resolution.

Key Requirements

•Strong hands-on experience building complex, scalable backend systems and RESTful APIs using Python.
•Hands-on experience containerizing Python applications with Docker and deploying/managing them on Kubernetes.
•Proven experience with Python web/API frameworks such as Django and FastAPI.
•Solid understanding of API contract design using OpenAPI/Swagger and knowledge of resilience/traffic-management patterns.
•Strong command of core Python and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) including schema design and query optimization.
