Job Summary

Lead the end-to-end delivery of the D Model Relife Project and coordinate mine life extension truck purchases, serving as single-point accountability for mobile asset capital projects and rebuild programs. Own planning, execution, monitoring, commissioning, and operational handover while ensuring safety, scope, schedule, and budget performance. Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain, contractors, OEMs, and senior leadership to manage risk, governance, budgets, KPIs, and maintainability outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out for the D Model Relife Project.
•Coordinate mine life extension truck purchases from specification through delivery, commissioning, and operational handover.
•Own single-point accountability for assigned mobile asset capital projects and rebuild programs, ensuring delivery safety, schedule, and budget.
•Develop and maintain project charters, detailed schedules, capital budgets, cash flow forecasts, and risk registers; manage scope and change impacts.
•Lead contractor and OEM selection, onboarding, and performance management, ensuring contracts define deliverables, timelines, quality, and safety expectations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 135,000 - 167,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
•Professional Engineering (P. Eng) designation registered or eligible with EGBC; Teck supports EGBC registration.
•Minimum 10 years of successful experience in engineering management roles on major infrastructure, mining and/or process plant projects.
•Demonstrated experience managing scope, cost, schedule, contractor performance, and capital governance requirements.
•Strong understanding of mobile equipment lifecycle management, asset integrity principles, and commissioning processes.
