Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide front-line and escalation support for live production control systems (PLC, SCADA, HMI, Safety PLCs), diagnosing and resolving complex hardware/software faults.
  • •Perform troubleshooting and safe system modifications in line with electrical and machine safety standards, including interlocks and safety devices.
  • •Respond rapidly to system failures with appropriate urgency and drive long-term reliability through operational improvement work.
  • •Use operational KPIs and analytics in Grafana and Looker to identify performance trends, systemic inefficiencies, and root causes; produce RCAs and performance reports.
  • •Own Jira pipeline for controls-related improvements, maintain controls documentation (work orders, PLC backups, diagrams), and mentor Senior/Maintenance engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate’s (bachelor's preferred) degree in Electrical Engineering (or related) or equivalent experience.
  • •5+ years in automation/controls roles, with 3+ years in a warehouse, distribution, or industrial environment.
  • •Strong hands-on experience with PLC systems (Siemens TIA Portal preferred), SCADA/HMI platforms, and industrial automation hardware.
  • •Experience with control system communication protocols for WCS/WMS integration.
  • •Available for night and weekend work as needed in person or on call.
