Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide senior technical oversight for test strategy across most Connected Warfare applications, supporting complex, highest-risk, or multi-system test campaigns.
  • •Review and improve verification strategies (requirements-based, scenario-based, operationally relevant) to ensure scaling across software-enabled hardware and pure-software systems and correct incorporation of customer standards and metrics.
  • •Act as connective tissue across test programs by identifying where test infrastructure, tooling, instrumentation, or lessons learned should be reused across the division.
  • •Mentor and escalate support to Staff and Lead Test Engineers by reviewing test plans, execution approach, and reporting across developmental test, system integration (HIL/SIL), and operational assessment events; step in hands-on only for the hardest events as needed.
  • •Support T&E process execution and division-level outcomes: traceability from requirements through verification/validation, test coverage and metrics, root-cause investigation of hardest findings, and represent T&E in design reviews and technical exchanges with government stakeholders.

Salary: USD 220,000 - 292,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline (advanced degree preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • •10–14+ years of system-level test and evaluation of integrated hardware/software systems, including 8+ years in a technical leadership or test lead capacity.
  • •Demonstrated technical depth across multiple tactical C2, sensor/mission autonomy platforms, and networked datalinks systems (not limited to one program).
  • •Proven full test lifecycle experience (requirements development, HITL lab integration, developmental test, operational validation, and reporting) including strengthening others’ approaches and documentation.
  • •Strong RF communications, tactical datalinks, and networked C2 experience in DoD operational environments; deep familiarity with DoD/industry test processes (e.g., MIL-STD).
